The University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) is a vibrant and dynamic institution that is dedicated to providing top-quality education to students from all around the world. Our programmes are delivered in English and/or German language, and with more than 100 nationalities represented on campus, we are proud to have one of the most diverse student bodies in Europe.

A diverse neighborhood, the central location of the campus, the economic and cultural offerings - there are many points that make our campus in Hamburg an attractive place for students from abroad to study here. The economic strength of the metropolitan region and its continuous growth make the Hanseatic city one of the largest economic, commercial, cultural, and logistics centers in North-West Europe.

We are among the 25 best schools with an international orientation worldwide. "U-Multirank" ranks us as one of the 25 best universities in the world for our study abroad programmes and student mobility. More than 1,300 universities from over 90 countries were evaluated and rated on the basis of ten indicators. The ratio of students to faculty in science and teaching as well as the number of frequently cited publications and the quality of teaching played an essential role.

Accreditation and Membership :

State Recognition

The University of Europe for Applied Sciences is state-accredited in the federal state of Brandenburg. All study programmes of UE are state-approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture.

Institutional Accreditation

In 2014, UE was re-accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) without conditions for a period of ten years. The Science Council, as the highest science.<
